The challenge
The existing storefront was a patchwork of plugins and custom code. Every new feature made it slower, and the checkout — the one part that directly makes money — had five steps and a high abandonment rate.

What we did
- 01
Rebuilt the storefront on a modern stack with server-side rendering, so pages are fast on first paint and on slow connections.
- 02
Simplified the checkout to three steps, removing fields that were not strictly required and adding guest checkout.
- 03
Cut page weight by removing unused scripts and deferring non-critical JavaScript, so the store works on mid-range phones.
- 04
Built a component library so the team can assemble new promotion pages without a developer.

Outcome
A storefront that loads fast, converts better, and the team can update themselves. Checkout abandonment dropped, and new promotions go up in hours rather than days.
