The challenge

A class booking system has to handle the no-show problem — a full class with four empty spots is lost revenue. It also had to work at the front desk under pressure, with members arriving and expecting to be checked in quickly.

What we did

1. 01

   Built a booking system where members reserve a spot, with a waitlist that promotes automatically when someone cancels.

2. 02

   Added check-in so the studio knows who actually attended, not just who booked.

3. 03

   Designed the front-desk view to show the current class, who is checked in and who is waiting, at a glance.

4. 04

   Included attendance reporting so the studio can see which classes are full, which have no-shows, and which should be scheduled more often.

Outcome

A booking system that handles the reality of fitness classes. No-shows are visible, waitlists fill automatically, and the front desk checks members in without a paper sheet.
