The challenge
A summary is only useful if it is accurate — a wrong action item assigned to the wrong person creates more work than it saves. The tool also had to handle multiple speakers and accents without falling over.

What we did
- 01
Built a pipeline that transcribes the meeting with speaker identification, so it is clear who said what.
- 02
Designed the summarisation to extract decisions and action items separately, with owners and deadlines where stated.
- 03
Integrated with the team’s task tool so action items appear as real tasks, not as a document nobody opens.
- 04
Added a review step: the summary is sent to attendees for correction before it is treated as the record.

Outcome
Meetings end with a record people trust. Action items appear in the task tool with owners, decisions are written down, and follow-up happens because the system remembers, not because someone does.
